CTET 2026 Notification Released, Online Application Begins

CTET 2026 Notification: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 for candidates who want to become teachers in Classes I to VIII. CTET is a compulsory qualification for teaching jobs in central government schools such as KVS, NVS, and other schools affiliated with CBSE.

The official CTET 2026 notification will soon be available on the website www.ctet.nic.in. The examination will be held in offline mode through an OMR-based question paper. Once the application window opens, eligible candidates can fill out the online form. CTET is conducted twice every year, and this notification is expected for the January 2026 session.

For Primary Teacher (Classes I to V) – Level I

  • 12th pass
  • Plus 2-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) / JBT

For Upper Primary Teacher (Classes VI to VIII) – Level II

  • Graduation
  • Plus B.Ed or B.El.Ed degree
