CG TET Eligibility Criteria 2025
For Primary Teacher (Classes 1 to 5)
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Senior Secondary (45% marks) + 2-year D.El.Ed as per NCTE 2002
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Special Education
- Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
For Upper Primary Teacher (Classes 6 to 8)
Any one of the below qualifications:
- Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Graduation (50% marks) + B.Ed (1-year or 2-year)
- Graduation (45% marks) + B.Ed as per NCTE norms
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 4-year B.El.Ed
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) + 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
- Graduation (50% marks) + B.Ed (Special Education)
CG TET Exam Pattern 2025
The CG TET consists of two papers, both in Hindi and English.
Each paper has 150 MCQs, each carrying 1 mark, and no negative marking.
