Educational Qualification

SC/TO

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer)

Junior Engineer

Maintainer

• 10th pass + ITI in relevant trade

ITI is mandatory for Maintainer posts.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in multiple stages:

For SC/TO

For JE & Maintainer

Final selection is based on written exam performance.

Exam Pattern

SC/TO & JE

• Technical Knowledge: 40 marks
• Gujarati Language (Qualifying): 20 marks
• Reasoning: 20 marks
• Quantitative Aptitude: 20 marks
• English: 20 marks
• Total: 120 marks

Maintainer

• Technical: 40 marks
• Gujarati: 20 marks (Qualifying)
• Reasoning: 15 marks
• Aptitude: 10 marks
• English: 15 marks
• Duration: 120 minutes
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

Gujarat Metro Rail Non Executive Recruitment 2026 Salary Details

During training:

• SC/TO & JE: ₹18,000 per month
• Maintainer: ₹14,000 per month

After training:

• SC/TO & JE: ₹20,000 per month
• Maintainer: ₹16,000 per month
